Mariam Abu-Shauer

• Graduated from Bogomolets National Medical University in 2023.
• From 2023 to 2025, completed internship training in Neurology at Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital.
• From August 2025 to February 2026, worked as a neurologist in an inpatient department at Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital.
• From February to October 2026, worked at the private Pulse Clinic.

Works with adult patients and follows the principles of evidence-based medicine. Her main professional focus is demyelinating diseases, particularly multiple sclerosis. She performs neurological examinations and helps identify the causes of headaches, dizziness, numbness, tingling, and muscle weakness. In her work, she pays close attention to detailed history taking, differential diagnosis, and an individualized examination and treatment plan. She has clinical experience managing patients with multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating disorders and has performed more than 300 lumbar punctures.

Regularly undertakes continuing professional education in neurology.

In 2023–2026, participated in courses, workshops, schools, and conferences on multiple sclerosis, myasthenia gravis, migraine, movement disorders, motor neuron disease, sepsis, metabolic syndrome, and other current topics in neurology.
