A special gel is applied to the breast to improve the transmission of the ultrasound signal. The doctor displays the image on the ultrasound machine screen in real time and takes the necessary measurements, assessing the structure of the glands and the presence of pathological changes.
After completing the examination, the specialist issues a conclusion based on the ultrasound results.
